Take only the calls you want with the feature Caller ID with Name.  Know who is calling you before you answer the phone.  When your phone rings, the name and phone number of the person calling you will show on your Caller ID enabled phone display.  It also works with call waiting, and will show the caller's phone number as the call waiting tone sounds.

How it Works

• No setup is required. All you need is a phone with a Caller ID display.

Caller ID with name is comprised of two parts:

• The Number, commonly referred to as CPN (Calling Party Number)
• The Name, commonly referred to as CNAM (Calling Name Delivery). 

While the caller id with number is sent along with every call, the name sometimes is not.  When a call arrives into a network and the name is not delivered for that call, a CNAM tool is used to associate the name of a caller with the number.  An external database is used to make this association so that Caller ID with name can be displayed on your phone.

NOTE: CNAM information for all new DID numbers or any changes made to current DID numbers in an account will take a minimum of eight (8) days for information to be updated in all phone company databases worldwide.  We cannot guarantee either of these items for every call.
